Quote from: George the Cat on Yesterday at 05:31:07 AMSeriously are any of the Eastern European manufacturers doing a limited run PR19 Kit in 1/72?

Nope, but Kit's sold the drawings and copywrite so expect to see some soon, or it might be available as a download for 3D printing
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I DO have the drawings available if anyone's interested, all three versions.  ;D

My Flight Simming mate, Melo Scanlon out in Washington State in the US, has been building an FSX version of the PR19 for a couple of years and it's superb! Flies very nicely at 60000 ft plus!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Chieftain gets PR.19'd:

There's a comment under that video somewhere suggesting Nick/others search for the PR.19 on the interwebs. ;)

Do you mean a model kit of the Meteor PR19 aircraft?
Or a model kit of the PR19 Kit Human Being?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The famous model would be nice.

Yeah I left a comment outlining the bare bones of the story as well.

Or both? ;D

Could do the aircraft with a couple of figures: one being a groundcrew guy waiting to hand the pilot his helmet and the other being the pilot in the process of taking his wide-brimmed hat off...

I'm chuckling away here.  ;D

In the model railway world there has been a movement afoot for some years to have the ModeulU people scan me so modellers can have their APT PoP-Train models properly 'staffed' with an authentic 'Mr. Tilt', like this......

I still have the Inspectors Coat and headset in the pic, but there's a bit more 'me' these days and a lot less hair!  ;D
