The What If? GB at ARC kicked off on December 1st 2008 and ends June 1st 2009. Would love to see people from this great site add a few entries

I have been horrible at completing GBs lately but im determined to finish this one!

Thought about it, may still enter but dont count on anything from me until Spring Break GB pt. Deaux comes around in march-ish . . . Still it looks like Whiffs are gaining acceptance among the more credible folks in the field!

Interesting but well behind the times. Most of the ideas ventured there have already been done by various of our brotherhood.
Still, in saying that there were a few good ideas that I read.

I'll probably play along. No one has even come close to mentioning any of my screwball ideas over there.

Hehehehehehehe.

It is nice to see ARC breaking from convention and having a What-If group build but I get the impression that they are too proud to come over here and join our forums and share ideas.

Some members might be, but ARC a a whole has always been receptive to whiffery. Alvis3.1 posts stuff over there and he does nothing but what ifs. And then there's Silly Week every year, always a hilight for me. If you can get past the the modern USAF jets that seem to predominate over there you can find some nice stuff. Better then HS, where 3 out of every 5 models has a swastika on it.

For the ARC What-If? GB:

Various and sundries mentioned here to be added to these guys but only as a particpant.....as in little chance of completion due to a business/home relocation underway for the next several months.   They're dummy runs anyway just to see if I still have it.

Ah yes, I can tell the theme from the boxes: What if - the aircraft were built backwards?  ;D

It'll be interesting to see what's produced.
I'm always willing to check out other's ideas.
But I've generally avoided ARC due to their stance re. Argentinian Agression/Falklands. It's their site so they can do what they want. But I didn't agree so I avoid it.

Look behind you!

Hehehehehe I joined in, I might post a couple of things there, bump up timetable on a few builds.  My F-19 and MiG-37 could get a few time boosts for posting into the build.  I might throw some ideas around.  Oh crap, I think one knocked something off a shelf.  Damnit.

I'm in on this one too.  I'm building a 1/72 Marine Turboprop Corsair from Vietnam.  I plan to also start a thread here in WHIFFdom showing my progress.
