*Chuckle*  I've been doodling with combining a Su-22 wing with a Su-15 fuselage for something like that.

I've been collecting the pieces to do a combination of the Ye-8, MiG-21SMT, and MiG-21-93 with a MiG-29 engine as a "what-if".   I think it fits right in with the other MiG-21 variants.

Interestingly, Sukhoi received full details of the A-10 design in 1971 (before the first flight, and briefly flirted with the idea of copying its layout but decided that to much work was invested in their existing design.

Would make an interesting "what if" project
