I found myself looking at this thread, STS, and thinking to myself... "You know, that's not a bad idea... I wonder what it'd look like with some real Russian aircraft bits instead.."  Which, of course, was followed by me looking at my salvage trio consisting of an Su-34 and a pair of Fulcrums, in various states of disrepair, and scratching my chin.  I already have my eye on a concept for the revised, real, payload, courtesy of a sprue loaded to the tits with bombs from the Trumpy Tu-16 that I...er....screwed up on, and vowed never to use spray again courtesy of.

Should be interesting to see the results of your venture, STS!

Awesome, toolslinger.  I love the Ferret kit, especially the 1/48 scale version.  With all that heavy plastic to work with, you just never can exhaust the possibilities.

Like BlackOps said, you get more done at a hotel room while on the road than I can at my shop, STS!  This is coolio, baby.  Have you considered Indian markings as a future project from HAL as it evolves in the next few decades?  Might be just all the Bhangra music I've been listening to, lately...
