Thank you very much for the reminder! I was just going to slap some decals on it and be done with it. Now that I've taken a look at at the actual photos of the plane, it will be closer to your description. Thanks Sauragnmon!! :mellow: :cheers:

Not a problem Eddie - I always remembered seeing white bands under the crosses on his aircraft of infamy, and definately, does that concept look cool.

Looking forward to seeing the images though - Red Baron's Revenge!  Going to give it other JG-1 markings as well, make it up like a showbird?

I actually meant Jagdgeschwader 2 - my bad - the second unit to wear Richtofen's name, their squadron badge is a white shield with a single styled red R on it.  JG 2 served through WW2, I don't know when they got merged into 71, which still wears Richtofen's name.  Just read up, apparently there is no relation - JG 71 was formed in 59, and given the name in '61.
