Hey this was inspired by Eddie M's F-816  so I figured the famous mercenary pilot Crazy Legs would be flying for Portugal

LOL...Crazy Legs. That is perfect !

Ed S

That looks really good.  The camo and hi-vis markings work great.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Brian da Basher

Love the markings, Toolslinger!

Hey, it's Crazy Legs on another merc-flying gig!  Great model, STS---fantastic paint, markings, shape; the whole thing.

Y'know that cammo is probably a pretty good compromise between overland and over-water, and that's appropriate for Portugal since one of their AF's tasks is to protect the Azores, which involves a heck of a lot of over-water flying.....

It's a great model Ron - well done!

Thanks to all y'all ;D I guess you figured out I likes my colors  . I got in 10 hours last night plus the 200 mile drive so I don't think I'll get much done today . But I plan on getting the load out done soon.

Great model, Toolslinger!!!

That camo scheme is simply stunning, and the model,is, is, is, er, awesome?. No. Awesome doesn't start to describe it.

The Portuguese markings are simply put, icing on the cake, as is the markings identifying this bird as the world-famous Crazy Legs Miller's personal mount.

I agree with Weaver. This should be one of the Açores protectors!!!

Man, you know how to make crazy things look perfectly viable!!!

Rafa

Is just me or any aircraft looks great with the Cruz de Cristo...? ;D

I am so effin pissed off and depressed. I spent all day yesterday painting up the loadout in preparation for final finish and peeling the canopy. Last night I opened a new can of Testors DULLCOTE ,cleaned the surface and sprayed the upper surfaces . I then went to bed. This morning I woke up to not just the worst orange peel I have ever had, it's the worst orange peel I have ever seen. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I tried taking really fine grit sanding sticks to it wet but it is so deep I will have all the effin decals off before I get it flat

Any suggestions to save this frikken disaster :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
