North Show - Sun 8th MARCH 2009

Heard from the IPMS that the North Model show (the Geordie Nats as some refer to it) has moved from its early summer slot to March. The venue remains the same as the Temple Park lesiure centre but is now in the spring.

(Hopefully Wooks will be able to confirm this with his branch)

With TrucknTrack show in folkstone the weekend before and the Southern Expo show the weekend after i'm not entirley sure how traders and clubs are going to take to the revised date  :huh:

Who's off to this?  I'm umming and ahing about whether to make the trek north or not  Does the SIG have a table?  Whats it like for traders/stands etc?

I'll be there and I think Martin said he was going to be there too as the SIG does have a table or at least I think thats what he said at Huddersfield.  ;D

Can't make it this year I'm afraid lads - bit to close to Huddersfield I'm afraid and family are away anyway.

Lee - do you know why the date was changed ? The old early summer one was perfect for me

Nev - I've always found it a good show, with a good turnout from the traders

I will be making the treck South to the Great North show.
I will be bringing the various WHIFs that have been posted over the last few months, Plus (if I can get the final coat sprayed this afternoon, it is snowing here in Prestwick, unheard of, and I do my spraying out in the garage), Plus three others not yet seen, two finished, one almost.

yep we have a stand. so no need to worry about not haveing someware to park your arse while u give your wallet a rest from the traders.

I'll be there, assuming I am not taking number one daughter to the maternity unit. I suspect there is a plot to get her to go into labour at 03;45 Sunday morning.

It's guaranteed now...... ;)

My #1 daughter decided to get born (2 weeks early!) at 2 am the night before my HNC Applied Thermodynamics exam. The exam adjudicator got upset when I decided to leave 1/2 way through...........
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
