Was thinking of getting some ships like that for Steam Punk builds.

Latest at Hannants from Bronco: 1/35th PLA Female Soldier on National Day Parade!

I kid you not:

;D

Pervy comments aside, I wonder what the breakdown of the figure is, because it could have all sorts of conversion possibilities. Apparently there are three figures in the box.

Some of the pre-release artwork supplied to modelling sites (not the Hannants one above) was obviously hurridly mocked up, because the English small print at the bottom left says "This box contains parts to make two bike model kits"..... ;D ;D ;D

Also, here's one that I don't think has been kitted before:

The do the ambulance version too:

Looks like OGL's personal bodyguards....

So you've seen him arrive at a show then? Doesn't matter where I go, he's always got there first, and with a guard like them I'm not surprised!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Following up with the three girls on parade, Bronco is releasing two sets of PLA Paras & SF marching along.  Looks like the SF troops have suppressed version of the QBZ-95 which is neat for me.

How many to a box?  A battalion's worth?  Otherwise they'd look rather lonely marching all alone...

Brian,

I think they are only pairs of each, but can't be sure.  There seems to be nothing review-wise online for either these or the previously mentioned female figures.

On a related note, they are also releasing a small arms set which looks wicked.

Now that looks more useful.  Never really seen the point of figures of soldiers on parade like the marching figures are, unless you have large numbers and at two to a box, it would be ruinous to even have a platoon, let alone a battalion.  Although, there will always be some modeller, somewhere who's crazy enough to buy that many!

When are they coming out with this set?

Pew pew pew pew!

Maverick

Lol Frank...

Brian, reading on the Armorama website, the original article mentioned that the 'parade' sets are something specifically designed for the domestic mainland Chinese market.  Seems they're popular enough over there to warrant the kits.  One hopes they will expand with figure sets of the more conventional kind, although Dragon's modern PLA set was, it appears, a one-off.

Rumor has it that these little 1/700 pre-dreadnought gems are Bronco.

I love these pre-Dreadnaughts - thanks for sharing
