Anyone want to sway the nomination process for the Whiffies?

Just over a week til the nomination process starts and thought I might open a thread to possibly help sway the voters.

After seeing topics like JHM's Tutor conversion resurface I got to wondering how many other gems are buried in the old topics so how about using this topic to post pics & links to not only your own favorite builds, profiles, stories, etc but also ones you are planning to vote for and might want to sway the masses with.

For those of you with your own galleries already established, a link to the gallery could cover it, however, if you have a particular build, profile etc that you think was your favorite, why not put it here directly.

So, post your own, post your friends, post your favorites and see if we can sway the campaign for Whiffie of the Year.

well, my greatest work completed this year, would be the Belgian 1/144 aircraft carrier "BNS Dendermonde"
although the carrier itself is elligable, being finished for over 2 weeks now,
the airwing wont be finished until early 2009

but i would be selfish only talking about myself, there are other great models out here
such as Eddie M.'s Superhog

or even Ed S's Mexican Pogo  (wish we had a drooling smillie)

-all kinds of things.

That's what I am talking about.
Some of these categories may be a little easier to pick then others.

Not looking forward to Best Aircraft, Best Camo, Most Original, etc.

Finding these took a little time:

This one has gotta get enough nominations to go for Whiff of the Year.

Good question Greg.
All of the pics from the Gallery have 2008 dates which to me (and I am the Academy ) makes them eligible.  Now I realize that the Gallery didn't exist in 2007 but if you were smart enough to put your older build in the Gallery in 2008, I can look the other way ;D.

Here is another great one but not sure if I can count it.

Did Dean ever post a pic of it here?  We have a link to it on Britmodeler posted:
http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,21574.0/highlight,lightning.html

And it is also up on ARC's Silly Week but I think that unless it was posted in a thread here, it would not be eligible.
And if it is eligible, than everything we linked over would also be.

What do you all think?

How in the heck are you going to pick only 5 profiles to nominate?  Mav has posted like 1500 in 2008 all by himself.  Then, we have several new comers who have also made a mark.  And that doesn't even count the Core group that has been around almost as long as the site.

Here are a few to think about:

And even more.  So, do you have a favorite or 5?

And that didn't even cover the armor, ship and sci fi profiles that are out there.

Another shamless plug (cause it's easier than sitting down and sifting everyone elses stuff and picking my own nominations )
