With the weapons problem solved a competiton was put forth to design an AC to cary them into the air. Toolslinger Engine Works had in development a large turbojet with afterburning  that was selected to power the new plane. Captured German technology as well as new designs from all over the Allied countries were used to develop the aircraft. Balloo industries put forth the winning design. It was a huge win for the small company. They possesed almost no manufacturing ability and had to outsource the entire build of the wind tunnel model, the mock up and the prototype but the design was a winner from the beginning. The large delta wing gave excellent high speed performance as well as a soft ride at low speeds and altitudes making it a stable gun platform .The large surface area and designed in hardpoints  gave a great loadout. The only major flaw in the design was a long takeoff run but this problem was solved by the addition of small forward canards which also improved manuverability and stall characteristics.

As said before, an inspired build.  Some things just go together, and the Hun body looks great with that delta wing.

Looks like a million bucks, Toolslinger! Your work never ceases to amaze me!

For anyone that wants to do the Revell F-106 gear up.......DON'T. :banghead: The kit is engineered to be gear down and each door must be modified in width, length ,and thickness to fit

It took last night and several hours this AM to get the bottom closed up and as you can see there is major putty work to be done. Whats new :o
I also blendyfied the butt end

Damn STS.  Sweet looking bash, so far, and I've been watching it just haven't commented up until thus far.

Your Putty-fu progresses, my friend.  Keep it up, she'll be a beauty when you're done.

I had the same problem with the doors on a 1:72 Hasegawa F-102...or F-106 (one of the two).  You buy your putty in bulk, STS???
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Looks like another winner, STS.  Are you going to add a bigger engine to this Hun?

Ed
We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

ElectrikBlue

Wow, nice job STS.

I agree with you, dog tooth gives a more agressive look to the Delta 100.

Thanks y'all .Definitely going with a bigger exhaust nozzle on this one. I am leaning towards the other tube from the F-15 like I used on the Hammerhead but without all the thrust reverser stuff. But I also have cones from F-14 and 18 to consider
