Obviously based on a scrapped "Kingfisher" I think it has the look of a "Helldiver" come "Brewster Bermuda".

At the moment the plan is retractable undercart, although I think "spats" will give it a Saab look.

As always open to suggestions  (of which I usually dont listen )  :banghead:and views on a "new" tail assemblyand four blade prop?

I like the idea of a four-bladed prop and of course, I would add spats!

I like the look of your "bermuda" Dork, and I will be much anticipating your next update!

...a two-man crew of Amos and Andy?

*hint--for non-aged, non-Americans, there was a hit TV show in the '50's called "Amos n Andy" and had a character called "the Kingfish"
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

if you want a new tail assembly that might look interesting, consider a BF-110's Twin Tail layout.

Four-blade prop does look like it would be more fitting indeed.  I'd suggest a prop off a good bomber to suffice.

I second the idea of twin tails. It would improved the field of fire for the rear gunner directly aft.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Nice combination. Contra-rotating props?

I did think of contras' but I havent got another 48th rig (there is another odd ball project in the pipeline)and Im not really into buying another Wyvern. I do have a good stash of three and four blade props and spinners.

You may have noticed that the" beastie" has an extra cowling to allow for the the triple radial, tri expansion neopolitan flavoured engine, that can handle a big four blader.(or Im I giving away the plot)

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

That would probably look right on floats.

Ed

What he said:  Extra big floaty spats would rule on this.

The Kingfisher on steroids.  What a delicious idea.

Have you considered removing the second crew position to make room for more fuel or a larger bomb load?

Oooohh yes, the Kingfisher Fleetwood Brougham, built under license at the GM/Cadillac factory in 1942...... I'm sure I saw an artwork of one in that 1953 edition of "The Big Boys' Book of Fantastic Flying Machines" you keep trying to lend to me !

(Still at work, still can't see the d*mn pics  :banghead:)
