GINge!

Thanks gang! Here it is with a basecoat of Tamiya NATO green; a perfect match for current Cdn vehicles. Some dry transfers from archer, and an inevitable roundel (visible only when the missiles are in the 'ready' position), and this one is ready for some Kandahar weathering.

Nice looking vehicle.  I look forward to seeing it weathered and used.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Very, very nice.

Makes me want to finish my Vulcan armed M3A3.

Cheers guys!

The ammo feed chute was done with apoxie sculpt, though miliput or any two part epoxy should work OK.

Ohhh ASLAV-AD....that would be neat! You could pretty much drop in the Italeri Blazer turret and be good to go. Or wait...the Aussies don't use stinger. Is it still RBS-70? If so, you could just swap out the quad stinger pod with some tube stock?

Actually, I think Trumpeter make a better version of the LAV-AD. Might just be a case of painting it Aussie 3 tone? Oh, now you got me all distracted! haha! ;D

Wow.  Now that it has been hit with paint, one really has to go back to the in-progress pics to see all the fine scratchbuilding work you did.  Otherwise, I'd swear it had to come right out of the box to look this perfect.

I am positively (and happily) humbled.

Finally got a bit of bench time to finish this one off. The Bobcat has just returned from escorting a Combat Logistics Patrol through some muddy terrain.

Now.. what to build next..an RCN Skyraider or a Centurion 2 x 40mm AA?
