2 new additions today:

-heller 1/72 Fouga Magister
-revell 1/72 A-1E Skyraider

You know, everytime I see that Revell A1-E it screams build me as a civvie at me. I think it'd make a sweet little 4 seat runabout.

Well technically my stash has shrunk as sold some 72nd aircraft to Overkiller, but used some of the profits to fund additional ship kits:-

Trumpeter 1/700 Wisconsin (may be backdated to earlier post war conversion proposal)
Trumpeter 1/700 Mount Whitney Command ship
Tamiya 1/700 British O class destroyers

Project Cancelled SIG Secretary, specialising in post war British RN warships, RN and RAF aircraft projects. Also USN and Russian warships

Silverfox

Last weekend I purchased a 1/48 Revell Harrier in the Chichester toyshop xD

then today, a 1/48 Revell phantom C/D from Modelzone and (to my swelling pride) an Airfix 1/48 scale TSR.2 from Antics, both in Guildford.

Barry Krell

Picked up a Rugrat Bristol 142 "Britain First" for under twelve quid and a mate gave me a test shot of his resin Spitfire F21 wing.  Which is a nice fit onto the Airfix PRXIX.  ;D  FR21 here we come!
Aston Martin  - Power, Beauty, Soul.

AeroplaneDriver

Nics batch from ebay today, all dirt cheap too!

3 x Monogram 1/48 MiG-29-unopened
Italeri 1/72 UH-1B
Tamiya (Italeri) 1/72 Gripen
Airfix 1/72 Javelin FAW9
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Airfix B(I)8 Canberra 1/72nd for my Swedish navy Rb-04 carrier.
Both from Halifax Modellers World - Where I met Thorvic, who sold me a Pit Road Krivak in 1/700th, and Overkiller who donated a Airfix VC-10 for my VC-10R build. Cheers both!

Just got back from Yate. (Avon show)

bit of a Phantom fest this time................

Fujimi F-4B.
Fujimi F-4C/D
Fujimi F-4N
Fujimi F-4S
Hasagawa F-4E

Non tooms now.....

Personally, I find the Fujimi F-4s MUCH easier to build than the Hasegawa ones.  The latter may be more accurate and detailed, but they are also massively over-engineered IMO.

As for the nickname, I always thougt it was Tomb, and I have even seen a former RAF pilot write it so......assumed it was due to its slab sided coffinesque shape *shrugs*

Called in at Chestermoor yesterday and picked up a Zvezda Ka-52 and a Revell Tigre, both 1/72.

Is that toyshop still seklling models then? Great! I've brought a shedload of models from there in the past. I guess with us both local to each other we use the same shops. Have you tried Morning Star in Camberley yet? It's in the Mall next to Boots

My other half lives in Hambrook, which is near chichester, and as she's very supportive of my interests, she was happy to drop in there with me. They had plenty of stock in when we went in, and did the previous time I went in. Most of it was 1/72 stuff, and almost all of it was Revell.

I don't drive, some I'm a bit limited on where I can check out, but Camberly sounds like it could be good. I've been looking for decent model shops in the Reading area recently (hence my jaunt to Guildford. Yay for Antics models!)

Today I've included a pic of the contents of the package that arrived today:
The Su-39 will be built in Logan's Chinese Naval Air Force DRAGONFOOT.

Oh, the Hunters. A steal at 4.99 EUR each. I don't know what I'll do with all those Hunters. Actually, just nine of those are mine, as three were ordered for a friend. Some may end up as Whifs, but I'm not sure what markings they'll carry.

Moritz,
Aspiring-Hunter-Gatherer. ;)
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Mossie

Lotta Hunters!

There're a whole load of real world Hunter conversions available from PJ Productions & Aeroclub.  Freightdog has his P.1083 & forthcoming P.1109B (which is real world I guess, but not when I get my hands on it!), as well as a proposed tandem trainer (as opposed to the sided by side version).  Enough that each of those nine could be a different variant.  May be a good chance to grab a few of those, you'll be able to spend what you saved?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Aircav

Off EB
1/48 Revell S-55 Helicopter
1/48 Esci UH-1D
1/48 Esci Mirage III
Now I can do a Bristow's Whirlwind with floats  ;D
