I just got two of the new 1/48 scale Dragon Ta 152 C kits, but they will not be built as the Ta 152 C. One will be made as a Ta 152 E what-if, the other one will be a full blown what-if type...not sure what it will be yet.

Yes! Just scored 4 Ryan Firebees from the 1/72 Italeri DC-130 kit off ebay! Been after some for an age! Also got a Revell 1/48 Mosquito for a wing swap with a 1/72 PV-1 Ventura to create a R-2800 Super Calquin and a Griffon Ventura! 


Oh and a Heller Tempest V was involved somewhere!

Found an Airfix 1/72 Super Constellation in TKMaxx this afternoon while shopping for a suit. Didn't get any clothes but the plastic somehow came home with me!

Yesterday I found the new Hobbycraft store has just opened in Harlow and will probably be a regular stopping point for paints and glues. I came back with a jar of Maskol and some Revell acrylic 'Reddish brown' for my helo builds.

Three sets of 1/72 for Spanish aircraft (F/A-18, Mirage F.1 and AV-8B+) from SERIES ESPANOLAS.

Will probably use the Mirage F.1 decals on a Harrier GR.3 in the tan, green and brown over grey scheme of the Mirage F.1s.

The first Saturday of every month, the Olde Town Business Association sponsors a flea market in the ground level of the Middle Street parking garage.  I went by there this weekend, and I found a gentleman selling vintage toys, mostly toy soldiers and diecast cars.  He had a bucket full of little ziplock bags, which he told me were $10 apiece.  I found one full of little tiny plastic jets.  A handful of these appear to be 1/700 (a pair of Sabres or FJ Furies, four F2H Banshees and four F7U Cutlass), while the rest are oddball sizes: MiG-15/-17 (or F-86, they're kind of crude), a snub-nosed jet that's either a Sabre Dog or a radar-nosed MiG-15, F11Fs, F7Us (with folded wings), BIG (compared to the others) A3D Skywarriors and three HUP helicopters.  In a separate bag with a bunch of footless army men, I found a model PBM Mariner.  If I'm not mistaken, this looks like it comes from the kit Revell re-issued a couple of years ago with the seaplane tender.  It's missing a float and the props are all bent to hell, but it's mostly complete, and appears to be an original issue.  I'll post some pics when I get home later this morning.

Hasegawa 1/72nd Shinmeiwa PS1/SS2 kit arrived this morning from Plastic Pastimes. Wanted one for years and finally got round to getting it! Prob real world but want another for whiffing.
