I wouldn't have said I had a thing for the Beagle, but I now seem to have an Airfix one, an Italeri one, a Trumpeter one and a Ben Hobby 1/100th one...... At least two of them are tentatively earmarked: one to get the wings and engines of an old Revell FTB Skywarrior, and the other to get a solid-nose-full-of-guns COIN conversion.

May I make a suggestion:

This afternoon arrived my Beriev Be-6 that Sideshow Bob acquired for me, it is marked up as a master model kit but it looks to be identical to the one I have already built. I don't think I will bother making a cockpit with this one as I don't have anything I can use to make one, but never mind, it will however get the nose radome, 23mm gun pack, and possibly a set of silly big Russian anti-ship missiles I might have a look into converting it into an amphibian also

Got a parcel from Thedarkmaster today - a CC Lee Flanker, to build as part of the Empire's Twilight world. Now I have to go back and study all his background material, to work out how to paint this beastie...

...I always enjoy a good Indian....

As much as an Indian AEW is a possibility, I am rather tempted by the idea of the SAAF joining in the AEW goodness.....  

I could yet be tempted to get another Cammett conversion, but not to use on a Nimrod, maybe for something else....

I'm late in postiong as I've just finished matt varnishing the first P-1121 - Hawker Herne FG.1 of 29 Sqn in grey/green/grey with red/blue roundels. I'll post pictures soon. (one week for a vacform build - must be getting quicker!)
