From Wingnut Wings, the 1/32 LVG C.VI. This is just an amazing kit - from the packaging, to the instruction booklet to the decals. Top notch all the way. $79 seems expensive (it is) but you definitely get $79 worth of product - straight from New Zealand! Just slashing their way through thick herds of vicious, rabid man-eating sheep to get the kits to the airport must have cost the Wingnut folks a couple of good men.

$79 was including the postage, and it took less than a week to get it. It looks at least as good as the Roden kits, if not better. I've read (and seen pictures) that the parts fit in the Wingnut kits is good enough to "snap together" - at least temporarily. The decal sheet is amazing, and easily worth $20 or more.

Today...1/72nd Airfix Mosquito NF something, the one with Swedish markings and 4-blade props.
Not sure what it'll be yet, but possibly civil (again).

Thats the NF30 you're referring to old bean.

Speaking of Mosquito's, I watched an awsome documentary on them last night or the night before that showed some amazing and unseen footage. when these blokes said low level they meant it. At times they were no more the 20 - 30 feet above the waves or deck and sometimes lower. Also had former pilots talking about them as well. Simply a brilliant programme.

A 1/48 RoG F-15E Strike Eagle for the princely sum of 12.50 EUR ....  ..... and a 1/72 Hasegawa MiG-23 Flogger "Czech Special". And heaps of photo-etch stuff and decals.

I was kind to Trumpeter from Squadron:

US Army in Iraq 2005
USMC in Iraq 2003
US 101st Abn in Iraq 2003
M1 '5 in 1'

Whilst the figure sets are nice, having modern LBE and M4 SOPMOD & other new weapons, their M249 SAWs are still 'old school' which is somewhat galling as the box-art for the 2005 boxing shows the newer M249A1.  As for the 5 in 1, there's a whole bunch in there, allowing an M1A1HA with two types of mine-plough, an M1A1HA without the mine plow, an M1A2 and finally and M1 Panther II Mine clearing vehicle.

That is a very nice kit - especially for the price. There are plenty of aftermarket PE sets that can be used with it. There's a TUSK set as well. The M1A2 metal barrels seem to be out of stock almost everywhere, though.

At the PX in early May, I picked up the following kits.....
1/72 Airfix Hawker Hunter
1/48 Monogram F4F Wildcat (for the pilot)
1/48 hobbycraft P-36 Hawk
Now, the next lot proves that 'there is a God'
These were found with the first rotation, second time round, I spotted a large flat box marked Dynavector Air Models with a Fairey Gannet vacform inside. This 1/48 model, untouched at $20...couldn't resist.
Once I'd bought this, the seller asked me if I'd like some more, actually four more. All Falcon NZ vacform all 1/48 as follows.....
