I was a very good boy this weekend in Huddersfield and Halifax....

I only bought a 1/72 Revell Flitzer and a set of Swiss roundels. Can you tell what it's going to be yet? ;D

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Back from the trip down south with Chris to the Huddersfield show.
We set off from Durham on the Saturday morning and met up with Martin and Geoff at Pennine Models in Haworth where I picked up a 1/24 Airfix Maserati Boomerang and a 1/15 Glencoe M274 Mule, plus the kits I was getting off Geoff which included the following, a 1/35 Trumpeter E10 and E25 along with a 1/72 Hasegawa EF-111A Raven.
Then a bit of lunch at the chippy and then it was onto Halifax Modellers World where the four of us met up with Nick, had a good look round but there wasn't anything that took my fancy.
After Halifax it was onto the Hotel where Chris and I were staying in Huddersfield and on the night Nick, Chris and I met up in the Station pub for the night where we had a few pints of Samual Smith beer and a bite to eat.
At the show on the Sunday I collected the 1/48 Monogram Tigershark Ian was kindly letting me have and the show proper I ended up with a 1/35 Heller 6x6 VAB APC, a 1/72 Esci Tu-22 Blinder, a 1/48 Italeri UH-1N and some 1/72 transfers for the Belgian F-16, Mig-17 and Mil Hip.
I Had a great time and it was great to see everyone again but as Geoff said it was a bit crowded behind the tables at the show.
Many thanks and all the best
Steve

Ebay fairy was at my door this AM, bringing me the Hasegawa boxing of the RMX A-37B in 1/48. Glad the price of these is coming down.

on it way to me very soon I hope from planet ebay.
Amodel su-15 Flagon with the PM model 2 seater su-21 included, for a gnats under 4 quid. Yes I know, I will end up needing psychiatric treatment only part way through the Amodel kit, but for that price I can put the extra money towards some happy pills  :banghead:
Oh, and I am waiting for a matchbox skyknight also from the same place

well, it won't float because of all the filler you will have to motherload it with.
Have you done an Amodel kit before? if not, get a stock of happy pills in and remove all sharp objects.
