On a mission to Halfords to re-stock my grey primer supply I dropped into Hobbycraft, as you do.

There they had two extremely knackered looking Airfix kits that a) I hadn't got and b) I thought had been cancelled. So now I have a Short Stirling and a Bloodhound missile kit. The Stirling is going to donate its engines to an RW Sunderland V conversion, but I have no plans for the Bloodhound..................yet.

What am I going to do with an engine-less Stirling? I also have a few Lancasters, one of which will become a Lincoln.......  -_-
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Now, having a good think about it, I really don't know why I bought this as.
A, It is not a scale I build in
B, I don't built ww2 stuff
C, Its made by Kitech.
But then I the moment of madness, came clear as to why I bought a 1/48th scale Arado Blitz......well I think it has
I am thinking, maybe, a scalorama 1/72nd scale large turbo prop, with pusher and puller props, solid nose, side by seats for the pilot/co pilot, and maybe 2 other crew behind them, a few extra bubble windows here and there, lengthen the wings some how.
I was thinking of a high altitude photo recon and observation plane.

Bandai Spaceplane off ebay. I have absolutely no idea what show or manga this is from and it's all in Japanese, so if anyone can enlighten me....

No firing missiles this time, but it does have a funky retractable ventral fin and I think the front portion detatches.

Before I went away I asked on a different part of the site about model shops near Christchurch...... Well I went to Plastic Past-Times and spent some money......

1:48 Hobbycraft P-26C (late) - will be built/finished in the bright (real world) pre war USAAC colours.
1:72 RoG Typhoon - Of course it will be Whiffed..... (M'wahhahahaaaaaaaaa )
1:72 Italeri UH-1F - Yes this one too !

Also arrived, whilst I was 300miles from home, (courtesy of eBay), an Italeri/Esci 1:48 Mirage IIIE; That's two I've got now, both will be Whiffed, both will be wearing the same side number at different stages of its' life..... go-on admit it, you're intrigued aren't you ?

But the best of all, whilst I was away I won off eBay a RoG/Hasegawa 1:32 Ju87D, for just £18.00 ($30.00 +/-) including the postage..... £18.00, half the RRP, how good/lucky is that !

Hi Weaver, I think it's from the Space Cruiser Yamato anime series (Starbazers in the States).

Postie delivered from Hannants a Hasegawa RAAF F-111C/G

Nice kit with what looks to be some very tasty new decals, although cant work out the two lower fuselegae sprues unless its to allow modellers to convert the EF-111A kits back to F-111A standard ?
