Today arrived my Kopro Mig-19 from the e bay. On the back of the box is from what I can gather a WHIFF U.S Air force L-39 in thunderbirds display team livery. I had a quick look for this on the net but could not find any reference to it.
Cheers,
Chris.

Carrying that kit about when it arrives will probably cause ANOTHER accident unless you have a fork-lift truck handy!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Italeri 1/72 F-16A/B From PS Models in York.

Bitten badly with this one.  Fifteen quid for a 1/72 F-16.  I'd seen the price, uhm'd & ahh'd, then went for it anyway because it had the Venezuelan decals I was desperate for.  Trouble is, it's got a special scheme & not the distinctive standard tail marking I was after.  And if I'd have turned the box on it's back, I'd have seen a nice full colour diagram of all the decal options.....
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Oh, & to add insult to injury, the Hasegawa F-16 was only eight quid, even though it didn't have any of the decals I wanted. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I know. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Got to hold my hands up, I knew the Hannants price beforehand.  But I knew if I was going to order it, I'd be paying the £3 postage, so it'd work out the same.  Also, I want to finish it for a GB deadline & if I waited for Hannants to deliver it, I wouldn't make it.  Saying that, I'd still be none the wiser about the decals until I got the kit as I can't find an online review with the decals anywhere.  And I was looking for these decals seperately from Hannants as well as another option, both were sold out until a few days ago.  Should have mentioned it to the shop guy (his other Italeri kits were normally priced, so I guess he isn't marking up), but well, too late now.

I can recover it, I'll just print out the tail insignia onto decal paper.
