Got the new F-111B conversion for the Hasegaw kit this morning in the post.

Nice set, but not it only covers the initial prototypes noy the later pre-production examples.

Thos would require a new fwd fuselage as the the nose is a bit longer and the cockpit is raised.

Cheers

today from my LMS,
I went in for some paint and came out with some.........and.....a trumpy 1/72nd scale STRV 103c and another Italeri quick build ISU-122 double kit.
Both are going to be S.H.A.D.O. vehicles, the STRV just cries out "GERRY ANDERSON" to me.
These will probably be the last kits I will buy for a long time as new financial restraints have slapped me in the face and wallet. >:(
Cheers,

Emhar 1/72 Mk.IV Male tank.

I was surpised to find a very unusual shop in Knaresborough, no name as such, just 'Toys, Books, Models'.  Popped in, & it was a kind of bric-brac shop I thought had died out when I was a kid.  A handful of second hand books & toys, nothing much of interest (although I did like one of his seventies styles lamps that was a retro-futuristic kind of SST!).  He had around thirty kits, all new & I spotted the Emhar Mk.IV which I've been looking for for a while, so snapped it up.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

NARSES2

Nice kit Mossie

The Airfix one is out again as well - need to did out my old Airfix mags with all the conversion articles from when it first came out
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Finally from ebay (no thanks to the Royal Mail.. :rolleyes:);

Revell 1/72nd B-17F Flying Fortress. Cheap basis for a not-entirely-serious idea.....

Academy 1/72 Me 163B/S from Just Kits in Hull.

Quite impressed with this kit, it includes two top parts to the fuselage to build either the single seat or trainer versions, as well as a transport tractor.  Originally bought it to donate it's canopy to another project, although that hasn't panned out so I'm not sure what I'll do with it now, sure I'll think of something.

Just got home from work duty and theer from the big H was my Academy IL-2 Sturmovik. Beautifull kit and I only ordered it for the markings! Telford here I come.
It will eventually be WhIfed, and to give you a clue, think of our glorious leaders very subtle WhIf, and the term "Cab Rank Sturmovik".

^ Sounds like a good plan to me!

EDIT: The Rafale should be an Aegean Ghost, that's for sure, but what about the Tiger? Maybe in the camo of their Leopards (and other armour):

Moritz
