From ebay, a mixed bag of white metal bits for a measly sum. Looks mostly WWI to me: can anyone identify the engine bits in the second pic? There's a rather odd 12 x exhaust stack there....

Academy 1/72 Me 163B/S from Just Kits in Hull.

Quite impressed with this kit, it includes two top parts to the fuselage to build either the single seat or trainer versions, as well as a transport tractor.  Originally bought it to donate it's canopy to another project, although that hasn't panned out so I'm not sure what I'll do with it now, sure I'll think of something.

How about Romanian Mossie - to defend the Polseti Oilfields ?

You can see the Accurate Miniatures provenace in the kit can't you Jim, as you say lovely. I splashed out on some Quickboost exhausts for mine.

My stash has just grown again.

1 XB-70.  I am following a fantastic build over on Britmodeller.

1 Matchbox Victor.

For a guy that hates seam filling, I sure picked some shake and bake kits.

RoG Rafale M in 1/144 for the One Week GB. Hope to build this. (Excuse the poor profile - me first one!)

Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

^ Sounds like a good plan to me!

EDIT: The Rafale should be an Aegean Ghost, that's for sure, but what about the Tiger? Maybe in the camo of their Leopards (and other armour):

I'm still trying to work out the camo for the Tigre, I wasn't sure about just green overall or NATO camo or two-tone greys.

From Ebay:

Revell 1/72nd Blenheim Mk.1/1F. To be Spanish Civil War, of course.

Heller 1/72nd Dewoitine D.520. In Spanish Civil War Nationalist service: supplied by Vichy France in late 1940.

Sheet of Fantasy Print Shop 2, 3, 4 and 6mm white stars, for the Spanish Civil War AVG Curtis Hawks. Havn't tried applying any of these yet, but they llok nice and company do a useful range of generic markings, including various coloured stars, RAF roundels, generic lettering in authentic styles, sheets of prototype "P"s  etc...

Their ebay shop is here:

From my LMS yesterday, a set of exhaust cans and nozzles for the Revell B-1B. This set is made by cutting edge, and, to be honest was an expensive mistake. The things are resin, and all but one of the nozzles is mall formed, and, to be honest pretty useless, as there is just too much missing from them. Bit of a gutter really as they are perfect size for some of the S.H.A.D.O. builds I want to do, but I think I will have to take them back to the shop. :banghead:

Just acquired two VP Vacforms CF-105 Arrows, in 1:72 scale. These look very nice indeed. Many thanks to kitnut617 for these.

Just picked up a 1/48 Tamiya Austin Tilly for £10.50 all in which I think is a more reasonable price for the kit instead of the 15 quid they usually go for.

It will eventually be WhIfed, and to give you a clue, think of our glorious leaders very subtle WhIf, and the term "Cab Rank Sturmovik".

Oh I know where you're going with this one and I wholeheartedly approve ...... maybe I'll go the opposite way and do a well known British tank-buster in VVS colours..... But then I'm certain somebody else here did that with the Academy kit...... Hmmmm

As for the IL2, personally I'm holding-out for the M3 version, although that single seater looks simply superb. Right up-there with their P-38, SB2C and F-8 kits.

Off Ebay a Mars chinese clone of the Pitroad HMS Manchester in 1/700.

A bit rougher compared to original but a handy source of spares.
