I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I think he means that they're all cheeky, bubble permed, moustaschioed, shell suited, theiving scallies.

Calm down!

Eh..eh... You're brave, eh..... Funny tho

So just came back from a trip to eBay. Always a mistake, but I won three decal sheets, from MicroScale one for 1:48 RF-4's (48-144) and one for 1:48 a F-8 Crusader (48-775) and a Tally Ho sheet again in 1:48 for RCAF Typhoon/Spit/Mustang.

Also bought a pair of recce Phantoms, a 1:48 Hasegawa RF-4E and a Hasegawa 1:72 RF-4E. The big one was VERY cheap, just £20.00 and the little one was a pure impulse buy..... £7.50 ! BRILLIANT !

Hasegawa 1/72 F-104G/S - will end up as Glanini's fabulous SPILLONE AFRICANUS.

Trumpeter 1/72 M2A2 Bradley ODs - had to have that one - fully(well, more less)-detailed interior!  :o Suggestions for a whif? The combination of US Army and sand seems kinda boring. Something a little more wild? To make things more interesting: Would need infantry for a dio. Have to display all those hatches open. Australian? Is there 1/72  Australian infantry with Steyr AUGs?

Revell 1/72 La-5FN - need the engine for Greg's great P-40/LA-5 MASH-UP. Warhawk hotrodski - will be a Soviet WWII field conversion. Something along the lines of ASh-82FNs engines available in abundance and the P-40 could use those 600+ extra horsepower. Or some crew chief taking the engine from a scorched  La-5 and hooking it to a P-40 with a busted engine. Now I just need an Academy P-40... :banghead:

Damn! :o Nice catch! Which boxing is it? In case it is the 501Sq ACM Special # 00862, I couldn't talk you out of the TWO BLUE LITTLE DRAGONS* for the nose art (of five options), could I?

*That's the 1/48 kit, but the decals are the same in both scales.
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Interesting! Where might one get more information about these models?
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Ah, the joys of craftsman kits - they are better for material cost, though the irony is that so few producers actually seem to reflect that back in the finished cost.
