One 1/72 AML Mirage IIICJ with recon noses, which will be a real world build.

And another Revell 1/144 Rafale M, which will be built in F-2 camo, armed with three ASM-2s. Since I couldn't build this one for the One-Week GB (as it's a WMD - a whif of mass destruction), I'll build it now - alongside the other two One-Week GB left-over Rafales.

Also got some PE for a 1/72 Gripen (Ukraine? Croatia?), CFTs for a Viper (which will end up on a Mitsubishi F-2) and a HUGE 1/144 decal sheet by Xtradecal for a lot of 'awker 'unters. CLICKY! Some of these decals will end up on Hunters, some may end up on other aircraft. Omani or Qatari EE Lightning (or Abu Dhabi)? Saudi Starfighter? Singaporean Harrier?
Cheers,
Moritz

Picked up one of those old Snap-Tite Monogram Orient Express spaceplanes from eBay.  Those things are cool.  Got this one for a steal, too!  Have seen them go into the $30's and above, got mine for significantly less.
I exist to pi$$ others off!!!

I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Couple of dirt cheap eBay finds today:

ESCI 1/48 Fiat G.91 PAN-got it for $2 because it is started and has no decals.  Not much work done apart from gear bays and 'pit painted.
Academy 1/72 Super Etendard-$4 for no apparent reason.  These seem to normally go for about $10 and this one is complete and still bagged.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Two local hobby shops are closing, so they have sales going on.  In this situation, it is not a win/win.  On one hand, you have a discount not usually seen in a LHS.  On the other hand, you have no options except for ordering from the internet.  That sucks.

Anyways, I got a Roden OV-1A and a Rev F-14B, and some sheet styrene and assorted bits, for less than $40 US.  Going back on Friday to stock up on acryl paint since I will have to drive four times the distance to get it in the future, or order it off the web.

Tupolev did a number of studies in the late sixties and early seventies for a Fiddler replacement, one of them, the TU-148-33 looks just like a scaled down Backfire. Needless to say this is my inspiration for scale-o-rama'ing the 1/144 scale Backfire.....

Arrived yesterday. What a superb looking kit. Absolutely beautiful, delicate moulding, no dropped slats/flaps/wing-gloves of course but I expect it to build very nicely.
