Is that BV138 the same as the Super Model/Italeri moulding?
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Two Hasegawa 1/72 Mitsubishi F-2s - will be built and modified for my (still!  :banghead:) yet to be written Japanese storyline.
A 1/72 Trumpeter M113 ACAV - will be bashed into a half-track with a Revell 1/72 Dingo ATF.
A 1/72 Hobby Boss Mi-24V Hind-E - awesome kit. Very likely to be a real-world build.
A 1/72 Hobby Boss N/AW-10 Thunderbolt -  likely to be whiffed, but no clue yet.
A 1/35 Trumpeter E-25 tank - got a plan for this one, but will keep it secret for the moment.

Damn, I need to buy less and build more.  :banghead: Anyone know where you can buy "time", preferably in a family-size value pack?

Yes, it is. HERE's a German in-box review.
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Thanks, Moritz. :) I have the Super Model boxing, just wondering if Revell did a new tooling (they've done a few other obscure German flying boats). Mine will be a post-apocalyptic bandits' machine, with a tail ramp and a boat or jeep inside. :)

Now that sounds like a good idea Pyro
Mine could drop a 4x4 off on to a beach, so as to deliver the Cartels "products" There is another 3 engined Dornier flying boat I would like to do also
The DO-24, that looks like it deserves bringing into the 21st century also.

Whilst in town today I looked in a charity shop window and saw at the back of the shop an airfix emblem.
So in I went and purchased the said airfix emblem which happened to be on a RB-57 in 1/72nd scale, complete and untouched, for £3.50p
Which is nice ;D

Got a mixture of 24 Spitfire and Hurricane kits from work today, going to give them to the local school modeling club as they have to provide everything themselves with no backing what so ever.

Met up with Falcon to visit Halifax Modellers World was about to pick up another Dragon HMS Liverpool kits after trying to decide between it, the Sovremenny and a Perry class, then spotted the Trumpeter 1/700 USS Nimitz

Been looking for this for a couple of months and had even asked in the shop if it was in stock, to which i was told no, so even greater surprise to find it. It was the kit i was going to get at SMW, so quite happy to get it now  ;D

Got my first ever Ebay buy today (I'm finally entering the 21st Century!) a Frog He219. After checking it out I think I'll be bashing it into something else as it's not the most accurate He219!

Paul Harrison

The old rivetty Revell one isn't too bad.  It's got an accurate outline and the basic shapes are pretty good.  Some of the detailing is crude but it's a nice one to just build.

Revell 1/72nd He-100

All part of my SCW master plan.....

They're both the same kit but it makes into a nice little model with a little bit of work in the cockpit, plus replacing the wheels (109B/C/D/E wheels are close enough) and opening out the two windows aft of the canopy.  I'd also suggest some plastic strip by the exhausts, adding the wingroot intakes with Miliput and opening out the oil cooler.  Makes a lot of difference although it's a nice enough model out of the box.

Cheers Barry - at least one of them will be getting most of that treatment: the other two will be variously modified.

Hi Barry, I've got the old Revell 219 in the stash, they even had a go at providing engines with open panels in that kit!
Got several Dragon kits too and the 1/48th Tamiya beauty too. I like He219's a lot but for some reason haven't got a built one at the moment.
