I'm from smack in the middle of Germany (northernmost Hesse, southernmost Lower Saxony), but I feel closer to the Northerners, actually. It seems that the Northerners have the advantage that their accent is considered one of the nicer ones by a lot of people, whereas other accents such as Bavarian or Swabian are less well received by other people. The common view is that the Northerners are more welcoming and that the Southerners like to keep among themselves. Probably a load of bollocks and down to prejudices. I'm pretty sure that Bavarians can also be very welcoming and that there are also enough Northerners who don't like strangers.

Loading the car back up proved an interesting exercise !!!!.

BTW I'm currently providing warehousing for some of Duncans larger kits so as not to give him chance of get said haul into the house without parents having kittens over the number and the size of boxes suddenly acquired !!!!!

(Please note i was not in Evil Kit Finder General mode in unearthing or encouraging any of the above purchases, baring Falcons ATB that i found, Padawan falcon had already provided the servoce on the Saturday and Sunday to the likes of General Melchett  )
