Cheers for that Duncan,
the middlebrook one was easier for me to get to than the Preston one, as it is a rigmarole getting to the Preston one,
BUGGER!! If I had of known I would have gone to the one just off Deane road instead, and suffered from clostrophobia
Chris.

BTW Chris Transport is open again on Sundays till Chrimbo...

The Bolton Hobbycraft is on the estates where PC World is at the end of St Peters Ways A666
Cheeres for that Geof,
Now I know why Duncan has moved to where he has, he is 5 minutes walk from all his model supplies. Crafty bugger!!

Picked up a Hase JASDF weapons set A and a Tamiya JASDF F-15J Eagle for $35.  The Eagle kit was open and is missing the instructions.  I don't suppose anyone can send me a copy of the instructions for this kit could they?  For reference it is Item 61030.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Was out running errands today, and made my way into the LHS.  Christmas Miracle, two Hobbycraft 1/72 CF-105's I ordered like... Back in June or so... arrived just recently.  Finally I can get on with a couple of ideas I wanted those for.

Seriously - you guys think Hobbycraft's Models are questionable? Try the distributor arm of the company.

Saur - if you want some nice Arrows, shoot a PM to kitnut617 - he's got the moulds for the VP vacform kit, which is very nice indeed. Supposedly the best Arrow kit thus far. He'll get them to you much quicker as well.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Ah, I already got my hands on these two, Pyro - I also wasn't going big for quality as these two birds have some notable chop-jobs ahead of them.  They're slated for the sledgehammer as it stands, so I figured I'd use the ones I know, and that I can avoid feeling grief over smashing into bash fodder.

There are several real-world versions Steve.  The M1142 TFFT, I think the Oskosh Striker airport tender is based on the M977 & Rosenbauer have kitted out the LVS with airport firefighting kit in the past.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

This might help improve matters slightly :-

Hi Simon
I like the look of the Rosenbauer version of the LVS but I'm not to keen on the TFFT so as a Whif I'm thinking a version of my own with a rear mounted engine  ;D
