I wouldn't have said I had a thing for the Beagle, but I now seem to have an Airfix one, an Italeri one, a Trumpeter one and a Ben Hobby 1/100th one...... At least two of them are tentatively earmarked: one to get the wings and engines of an old Revell FTB Skywarrior, and the other to get a solid-nose-full-of-guns COIN conversion.

May I make a suggestion:

Now then Greg,
That looks really really cool, I have an IL-28 in bits in the boneyard, that would look the part built like that.
Marvellous!!
Chris.
Oh, any chance you could colour it in??

This afternoon arrived my Beriev Be-6 that Sideshow Bob acquired for me, it is marked up as a master model kit but it looks to be identical to the one I have already built. I don't think I will bother making a cockpit with this one as I don't have anything I can use to make one, but never mind, it will however get the nose radome, 23mm gun pack, and possibly a set of silly big Russian anti-ship missiles  I might have a look into converting it into an amphibian also

Got a parcel from Thedarkmaster today - a CC Lee Flanker, to build as part of the Empire's Twilight world. Now I have to go back and study all his background material, to work out how to paint this beastie...

Many thanks, Tim - I'll try to do you proud!
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

im currently at the traders day at MAM. Ive just added one Italeri AC-47 from Howard of Effingham, and 4 Hasegawa weapon sets from one of the Coventry & Warwickshire boys.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Never mind trying to act all innocent! Your cards marked!

No no no, you're looking at it all wrong Dunc.  This way, I get to gaze upon an Indian AEW.3, without having to actually pay for it myself.  Its a win-win situation :)

For me :D

My LHS is hanging onto a Paragon Lancaster B.II conversion for me.  Toying with either RAAF or a Maritime patrol scheme for this one.

For me :D

...I always enjoy a good Indian....

As much as an Indian AEW is a possibility, I am rather tempted by the idea of the SAAF joining in the AEW goodness.....

I could yet be tempted to get another Cammett conversion, but not to use on a Nimrod, maybe for something else....

There's a picture in Bill Gunston's 1985 Combat Aircraft of the Future of the system fitted to an A310, and I'm sure I recall a GEC advert with profiles of it fitted to all sorts of things, a C-130 being the only one I can recall right now.

Martin posted the advert as i think its from the RAF yearbooks from the early 80's.

I forgot to post earlier. went to hanslope kit swap - bought from that awfully nice Mr McEvoy:

Project-X P1121 vac form(2 in bag, but only 1 set of white metal bits, so time to raid the spares box)
Project-X P1154 RAF vac form

plus

Revell 1/32 Spitfire II ( a snip at £1.50 even if the windshield is missing)
Academy HMMV 1/35

I'm late in postiong as I've just finished matt varnishing the first P-1121 - Hawker Herne FG.1 of 29 Sqn in grey/green/grey with red/blue roundels. I'll post pictures soon. (one week for a vacform build - must be getting quicker!)
Life's too short to apply all the stencils
