OR, you could do it post-revolution, toting something Russian.....
That's a possibility, Kh-35's maybe?  I was thinking Exocet especially because there are strong rumours that Iran acquired a stock of these after the revoloution.  I know Indian Shars carried Sea Eagles, did they ever use Soviet/Russian ordnance?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Jim, get yerself stuck into that Tamiya mossie - one of the best kits I have ever had the pleasure of making.

I totally endorse that

Finally got a Airfix 1/72 SHAR FA2. Went into MZ in Croydon and all the "red boxes" had sold out (even the RE8, which was there last week ). The traditionaly boxed kits were still there in abundance, shows how good Hornby's new marketing of Airfix is. Suddenly remembered our local departmental store has opend a Hornby franchise and they had one left   Will have to put this on my regular "route" to the pub, if only to look at the railway layout  ;D

James May effect or what ?

have a good one lads

And a host of angels came from the sky
And one said:
'Go via Modelzone on the way home from work'.
And truly I did go home via Modelzone, and yea did I enter that plastic paradise.
And in that temple the host of angels doth spoke:
'Go to the pile of Revell 1/72 Hunter FGA9s, do not pass Go, do not collect £200'.
And I did the angels' bidding, for I was sore afraid that I would miss out on a bargain.
'Buy one', said the voices in my head.
'Nay, for I have one already, one on order and an F6'.
'Buy one', the voice didst say more loudly, 'otherwise I shall smite thee'.
And so it came to pass that I got one for £4.99, and verily did smuggle into my stash without detection.
Merry Christmas! :D :D

Courtesy of elmayerle's big disposal sale, today I received a Hasegawa 1/72 TA-4J Skyhawk Trainer.  It has markings for the Chief of Naval Air Training (CNATRA) and Blue Angel 7.

Edit: I forgot, this marks the seventh Scooter added to my collection.

A side note to the other two who've purchased from me, your items were mailed exactly the same time the above shipment was, so you *should* be getting them before too long as the Christmas "glut" ebbs from the postal system.

Cheers for that. I'd got the others I was after last week, it was just the FAR 2 I was after which had sold out.. They'd had another delivery but that had sold out as well. Still got it now and it's very nice

Thanks to Santa (and Amphion):
1/48 Trumpeter J-10 -  earmarked for a Russian whif as in Gekko's profile
1/48 Tamiya F-16C - maybe real world, maybe Georgian (Caucasian Viper)?
1/72 Academy F/A-18D
1/35 Dragon Sd.Kfz.251/22
Also a couple of decals: TwoBobs 1/72 Turkish Phantom special, 1/72 Polish Vipers and 1/48 AH-64A Apaches. The Polish decals have two complete sets of 1/72 decals. One will be a real-world Viper, the other, hmmm..... maybe a Hornet (as in Jorel's profile)? And two Xtradecal sets: 1/144 Tornadoes and 1/72 DH Vampires (for a Mistel build inspired by Gre'gs profile)

and from Amphion for the Secret Santa GB a 1/72 Revell Hawker Hunter F.6.  The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of an Italian Hunter.  Possibly in WWII camouflage, but in post-war markings.
Cheers,
Moritz
