With Eduard's superb 1/48 Bf-110 kit available, how about some Bf-110 whiff ideas?

I'll start:

Radial engined Bf-110T-2:

(See here as well):

Maybe even with torpedo:

How about something blunt-nosed ala the Bf 110 V9?

The 110T I like - I had been thinking of using the 110T on my Fenris concept, as the Torpedo Bomber - between its decent speed, and the payload, it'd be pretty effective I should think.  Not to mention if you put on, say, Armor Piercing bombs and level-bombed with it like a Kate.

Here's a thought - what if the 37mm gun sometimes mounted actually had accessibility from the aft cockpit, so #2 could actually swap out the magazines?  Alternately, what if a larger ammunition supply was mounted between the two cockpits by drum feed?  50mm mounting?

I love the 110 - as if my icon can't say it - I did that as a skin in IL2, custom did the Red Baron's colours on a 110.
Putty-fu, Scratch-jutsu and Bash-chi, the sacred martial arts of the What-If. Mastering them, is Ancient Chinese Secret.

Just your friendly neighbourhood Mad Scientist and Ship-whiffer.

Overkill? Nah, it's Insurance.  So are the 20" guns.

Love the radial 110 Greg.

As for the single seaters, maybe as a German version of the Shturmovik with a couple of 37s under the fuselage?

What about a VIP transport? Replace the rear cockpit with a small cabin - maybe bulge/stretch the fuselage in that location to make it a bit more roomy.

I've some Japanese IJA versions planned.

What about a postwar civil conversion for viewing the Alps....glass panels in the floor?

  Greg,
surely that last one is the Bf-110(J)  IJA export model?

Though not strictly a Bf-110, the whif is based on one.

It's "technically" a Macchi MC 605, but made from a Bf-110 body and wings (folding mechanism a real pain), but engines traded for Italian MC 205's and a third one put in the nose. Canopy comes from an Me-410 as well as remote-control rear-defense guns. Triple tails find their way in from a 1/200(?) Constellation. This "Vendetta" torpedo bomber is supposed to fly some "Taranto"-like missions to Alexandria or Gibraltar aboard the Italian aircraft carrier Aquila.  The Italian surrender puts the Aquila in the Allied fleet sent to take Indonesia. The Vendetta sports Italo-Allied markings--the first to use a thin red stripe through the bars (later adopted by the US post-war), though the bar's outline and star field is green rather than blue.

My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

Well, here's something silly:

Believe it or not, I've been thinking about something like that (either that or the YB-40) after going to an arcade when I was 13 years old......

Like a (massively?) multiplayer light gun game......
To the individual soldiers, *everything* is a frontal assault!

Current Hobby Priority...... Sigh......

To-do list here

what about a bf-110 version of the Ta-152 -  i.e at least extended wings, maybe elongated engine pods in the style of supercharged Fw190 D-9 engines ?

I'd still like to do a prototype Me-110 with cloth wings, spatted fixed gear, twin blade props and the like.  Open cockpit might be pushing it  but I think we all get the idea.    Then paint the thing up in NMF and clear doped linen, completely devoid of markings.
