Lindberg models (NEW)

I may be somewhat behind the times, but I noticed that Lindberg is back, with a great looking web page and all of the models I remember so well from the late 60s; DO-335, AR-234, HE-100, etc. These may not be the most accurate, but they sure do bring back the memories. Has anyone built any of these new (old) kits recently, and are they still the same?

I haven't built any of their re-released airplane kits, but I do have "Mars Probe Communication Satellite" kit.
One interesting feature of this re-release is that it includes the parts for the winged Mars Lander upper stage, which was issued as a variant of this kit. What's odd is that the extra stage isn't mentioned on the boxtop or instructions.

The F-11 Tiger and XF-88 have all kinds of potential.

The OA-9 has been in Ye Olde Stash specifically for the Seaplanes/Amphib/etc for a while; basic but that's what's best for a whiff sometimes. The XF-88 is also ready for something. They're not bad especially for the money spent.

Lindberg did an 1/72 Ar-234B way back then, in the awful green plastic to match the Do-335 and He-162, not to mention the He-100. It's rather, shall we say, basic. No wheel well detail etc, but the overall shape is pretty accurate.

Lots of whiffy goodness there: short-nosed F-11 Tiger and Cutlass.....

Didn't they do an XF-91 Thunderceptor? If they did and they re-released it, that might persuade me to break my 1/72nd only rule....(assuming it was 1/48th)...

This lists all the aircraft and other models they are going to be re-releasing.

Lindberg. LINDBERG!!

THE most frustrating model company of them all! Weird scales and wildly inconsistent accuracy and detail, yet they also tackled subjects no other company would touch.

I still have my LCT, though the tank is long gone. I'd rebuild it, but it's nigh impossible to find detail parts in 1/125 scale.
The American Presidents Line ship is tempting, and I think I might pick up the Ghost Ship just for old times sake.
And that lovely Cutlass, yum yum!

I think there are many more wiffing miles in the "old" Thunderceptor. I got mine of Ebay for a fiver.
