Here's a link to some contemporary Sikorskis in a wildlife theme:

Martin and Osa Johnson were shooting wildlife movies in Africa in the 20's. Lots of information on the web about them,  I really wish I could find a copy of an ancient New Yorker cartoon- several well fed Brits are having a rather extravagant meal(linens, candleabra, etc.)on safari, and in the background a man is sitting on a log eating something out of the tin can.  The caption was "rotten shame that cheetah made off with Sir Rogers dinner jacket".

Quick look at where I am right now

I want to do something "different" with the cowling though...open to suggestions

Also keep in mind that the Mausers were the first rifles to have really nice scopes and mounts

Also there was, or should have been a lot of Mausers 98s lieing around exGerman colonies at that time. Just a thought

Looking good, Joe! As for the cowling, if you have a prop with a pointy spinner in your spares box, how about grafting that on and attaching some exhaust pipes (easily scratched from sprue if you don't have any spares) and turning it into an inline?

Love the camo!

That looks awesome  I agree with Brian go inline. Maybe with exhausts on just one side.
