Hehehehe... I don't remember exactly how old I am but I do know that bathing in the blood of virgins keeps wrinkles away... :o

Here's a couple of a Super Frelon that came by for visit on the Midway many moons ago....

Super Frelons are cool.  Not enough of them in the world.

The ex-Olympic Airlines Super Frelon at the International Helicopter Museum is amazing. It's so big you think you've been shrunk down a scale. :)

Apparently it was the only civvie one they built, not sure why though.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

That's what we've been waiting for ! Great shots, Eddie. The Super Frelon is a cool bird. It's funny, tho...with that rounded nose and windscreen, and then engine cowl and boom, it's caught between looking old and looking modern !

As for not enough of them, how many do the Chinese have now ? And how many they plan on building ?

I love this latest batch, Eddie!  The Navy stuff is cool, as always, but my fave out of these is the UPS DC-8.  There are a pair of these sitting by the cargo terminal at CLT.  They're pretty, but I never got to see them in the air.

Whoa, whats with the Spad?  I thought they would have been retired by the time you were in the mob?

Thanks guys! Nev, the Spad is owned by the Lone Star Flight Museum and I took that photo a few years ago at an airshow.

Love these old photos Eddie!  My particular faves are the Bear in the sun, the Super Frelon & the B-52, great!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Thank you Guys! More helos. As I go though scanning some of these, the detail that I had forgotten about is coming right out again. This is definitelya trip to the past.....

Eddie, thats probly your best one yet.  The starting point is good (Sea King, gorgeous old school scheme), but the setting sunlight, and the crewman giving the signals with the wind whipping his clothes just sets it off.  Really atmospheric
