Captain Canada

A super-sexy aeroplane in one of the world's sweetest paint schemes ? Gotta be a winner !

Got my glass of water and the kit......

And if any of you have seen this little gem before, you'd know it doesn't have a 'pit. Here's my ten minute rendition of styrene bits....

CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Long Live the Commonwealth !!!
Vive les Canadiens !

Captain Canada

I'd love to ! Not for another week and a half, tho.......

HAHAHAHAHA hahahah!

Now, im off to get myself a nice cold german weissbier from the fridge

Captain Canada

Hey come on...it's not that funny ! It's the hardest thing I've had to do in years !

Here's my little cockpit all painted up. Looks pretty neat, eh ? The men are little bits of sprue from the Dragon 144th scale Harrier, the little pegs on the Brimstone sprue.

Looking good, Captain.  But please, please tell me you don't use that awful stuff in the red tube!!!

Captain Canada

Awful stuff ? What ? I've been huffing it since I was 13 ! It can't be that bad !

But yes, I do use it. That and the liquid Tamiya stuff. I find they work great together !

Captain Canada

Greg, it's gonna hang from the ceiling like the rest of my 'flyers' !

Thanks for the comments, guys. The peg people are pretty cool, eh ? I'll be using them agian for other 144th scale flyers.....

Here's tonites update : I had hockey tonite, so only a few minutes of modelling to wind down before bedtime. Adding some styrene rod to the u/c bays to bring the wheels level to where they'd be in flight.

Looking great! Love the pilots

I like watching the RDAF Challenger doing flying displays. The sonarbuoy drop is cool, looks like a bird dropping

GTX

I wish someone would make a kit of the Challenger in 1/48 (or at least 1/72 scale).

Regards,

Greg

I beleive it is available in 1/72, albeit as a vacform

Your "post pilots" are true genius, Cap'n! You're got some outstanding detailing going on!

I can't wait to see how the rest of this goes together!

Leading Edge used to do one in resin in 72nd scale. I heard it was a real gem of a kit. I had also heard rumors that it was going to be released again......

Thanks again for the comments, guys. I like that name, Brian...'post pilots'. I think I'll use it !

So, you on meds or something then?

Oh, and I thought you were finishing all your part-started builds before starting any new ones? ;)
