Awesome stuff....that's a really cool little diorama you've got there. I wonder what the pilot heading up the stairs is thinking ?

Very Nice!!!  Is this in 1/72?

Can you imagine what a rush a takeoff would be in one of these?

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

If you wanted to do something like this in 1/48th scale I would recommend acquiring the Lindberg SM-62 Snark missile for the launcher and RATO units.  It is the right size for adapting an F-100 or F-104.  I must say I do like the exhaust trough in the base, that is a perfect solution to the back blast problems associated with rocket motors.

If I recall, the 104 was known as the "Missile with a Man in it" and this... this is just proving it.  It certainly looks like a missile there.

I found this teeny picture from an EU website about museums.
