G'day Gang,

IPMS Deutschland have a review of the Stryker M1128 MGS variant kitted by AFV Club.  It doesn't seem that the kit has the stabilizing arms that are necessary for the vehicle to fire its main weapon off the centreline.

As expected, AFV Club have announced the first of what will no doubt be a long line of variants of their recent Churchill kit - the Mk.III AVRE

Thanks for linking that interview, Nev!  That was really interesting. Especially regarding the competition and a parent company financing the model business.
Cheers,
Moritz

According to Terry Ashley@PMMS AFV Club will soon be releasing an EOD Tactical Robot  in 1/35th scale (listed as kit #AC35010)

A quick check of the Hobby Fan web page shows similar information for this model at this link: AFV Club 1/35th scale kit #AC35010 EOD Tactical Robot

It is a sad looking little thing in that image on PMMS.

I thought the ED-209 was already offered in 1/35th scale as a vinyl model.

I think it's kind of cool, although I remember seeing a lot of footage of Wheelbarrows going in when the pIRA were at their height in the eighties.  Now I'd like a kit of a wheelbarrow, along with a 1/35 clapped out Ford Escourt to give it something to play with!

Horizon did a vinyl ED-209 some years ago but it wasn't particularly great, basic & poor fitting.  It's been long oob from when Horizon went down the pan & they go for a pretty penny now.  Possibly the kind of thing Moebius might pick up, hopefully?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Logically, Airfix should do one in 1/32nd (?) to go with their re-released Escort. Might be a bit close to home though....
