They do actually have another new Churchill lined up for release a Churchill V, although the Dieppe one still appears to be in limbo  :-\

Interesting one: the ROTA trailer intended to extend the range/ammo supply of British tanks:

We're going to have a guest at our club meeting this Saturday, 14-09-19

"Mr. AFV Club" is attending this Saturday!

Greetings All -

Member Pei Chi has informed me that he will be escorting the President of AFV Club to our club meeting
this Saturday.  Mr. Tserng will be in town visiting local museums before flying down to LA.

I thought it would be nice for him to see some of his company's products on display when he comes, so I am
inviting everyone to bring their completed AFV Club builds - if you want to.  I am not sure how long he can
stay, so I am guessing that these will go on a different table or tables than the normal show and tell stuff.

AFV Club specializes in armor kits, but they also produce many fine aircraft and other types of models in
their inventory.  Mr. Tserng has been supplying free models to reviewers for a few years now.  It would
be nice to show him what we've done (in person).  But this is entirely voluntary - I know how easy it is
to damage models in transit!

Thanks - and I'll see you all Saturday!

Why not suggest to him that AFV Club should do an AC I Sentinel in 1/35 scale, Jon?

Could be an interesting exchange of views Jon. It's always useful for us consumers to hear about the production process from the horses mouth and it's also interesting for producers to understand where we are coming from. At the end of the day these meetings can be very useful and entertaining
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

And a Cadillac Gage Commando Scout....
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Don't you mean the Weyland-Yutani Colonial Marines recce car?

I've long thought the Scout would be a good vehicle to add to the Alien universe.

A bit slow on the response, but I can see the Aliens styling.

I've always thought it had seventies sports car styling, an armoured Lancia Stratos.

Give it a sleeker, more organic, turret design that invokes the Stratos windscreen
and roof-line and the resemblance would be even greater.

The Stratos is probably my all time favourite car.

WAY late to this discussion, but back in the mists of t'interweb someone had chopped down an M8 Greyhound to a 4-wheeler and added an M-48 Commander's mg turret to it, and called it a FAR-V, placing it with his M-577 APC.
This is still something I plan, but I'm now thinking the hull front could stand a bit of rework, particularly around the hatch area.
I will be using an AAVP-7 turret as well, as it looks a bit better to my eye.

All of which is 'HTH, FWIW'-type information...  ;)
