Great page, great kitbashing of ww2 ships with modern parts. It was slow loading earlier this week but now it's gone. Anyone know of a mirror??

There is some nice work there - am I right in assuming the 4 model pic, models are based on the same (Yamato?) hull?

Sweetness! thanks CanisD! I just wish that it would load faster. Normally it times out.

Anyone know what that white part is between the 2 towers of the super structure? Those 8 cells with the 4 little numbs in each cell.

I'm trying to figure out the hull of the first one; it's probably RN. The missiles are from a Slava class cruiser.

The second looks like a JMSDF version of the Arsenal Ship, using a USN Ticonderoga CG. (Me, I would have put a hangar aft instead of more VLS.)

In the group shot they are, port to starboard:
A modernized Yamato.
A Kuznetsov with a mixture of Soviet and USN aircraft and JMSDF/USN defense weapons.
I believe another Yamato, with the superstructure moved back and the third turret moved forward, updated something like the planned Phase 2 for the USN's Iowa class.
Shinano, the IJN WW2 supercarrier, with modern aircraft

In the photo that Wyrmshadow linked, I believe they are the VLS launchers from a Slava class cruiser.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

It's the HMS Repulse. He guy took the B turret and put it in the rear.

I dont believe so because my Slava model the VLS is circular, not square like these.
