Ah, it's a Russian engine. Probably ingested a whole subcompact car to get that. They'll pull the motor, tip it on it's end to shake out the loose bits, and it'll be right as rain.

Of course the TBO on them is, like, eighteen minutes, but they're durable as hell in those eighteen minutes.

Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

Here's some info on the incident:

VIDEO: Witness report from T50-2 flame-out at MAKS air show
Saturn: T50-2 flame-out at MAKS not engine failure

Reading the second one with the comments from NPO Saturn general director Ilya Fedorov, I think the technical term is the engine "burped". ;D

Well, I suppose one could make a comment about a strong curry in a Moscow restaurant the evening before...

Beat me to it Greg  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Jeepers, that SP gun is one tough looking mother!  :o

Why do the Czech Air Force have their title written on the fuselage in English? Or is 'Air Force' the same in Czech and English?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
