Here's another preserved resident of the Kbely museum. In Socialist era Czechoslovak Airlines livery:

Lovely!  I'm particulalry keen on the Tu-104 as far as airliners go.

Speaking of things Czech, here's some from Prague Technical Museum a few days shy of three years ago.  Not Soviet as such, but Warsaw Pact:

And one suspended from the ceiling in the departure lounge of Prague Airport:

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Great pics Mossie!

I'll have to get myself out to the Prague Technical Museum sometime. Here's a couple from indoors at the Brno Technical Museum:

Zlin HC-2 Helibaby

Zlin Akrobat

I really like the Aero 45 thats hanging in the departure lounge in Prague's airport though I've never managed to get a picture of it myself. Ithink the Aero 45/145 line of aircraft is quite attractive. I just wish someone like AZ Models would make a new tooling of it in 1/72 to replace that pig of a kit by Amodel.

Anyway, here's a couple of pics of another one from the Kunovice air museum:

Impressive pics!  Stuff I have never seen before. I hope this isn't considered "cheating" but... "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"

I love that BRDM-ish HMMV

I have the A-Model Aero-45. It's an interesting looking design and might have whif potential... but from the looks of it it does seem to be a PSR nightmare.

Love the modded Humvee - that is way cool

You'll want to try to get your hands on the vac formed canopy by Pavla for that kit. The kit canopy is too wide for the cabin opening.

Here's another Socialist era originated GA type I'd like to see in scale:

Let 200 Morava

I'd never seen or heard of the Morava before I came to the Czech Republic, It's a beautiful little aircraft to look at on the ground or in the air and I hope AZ Models will do it in 1/72 as they seem to be turning their attention to homegrown Czech planes of late.

According to this, and a few other sites, upwards of 1000 had been built when production ended.

Thanks! Just ordered two Aero 45 canopies.
