A Su-24MR decorated purposely for the VVS 100-year anniversary:

NOTE: This is the same aircraft! The port and starboard sides have different design.

The art work on that Fencer is bloody gorgeous!!!
If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

If you go into battle knowing you will die, then you will live. If you go into battle hoping to live, then you will die

NARSES2

That is nice and a happy birthday to the VVS
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Why does it have a photo of a Tu-134 on the port fin?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Why not?  ;) And there is also An-26.

Mr.Creak

Tu-134 was the first Russian/ Soviet airliner to get ICAO certification, allowing it to make flights to other countries - therefore it would effectively have been the first "ambassador" airliner they had. (Just a suggestion).
What if... I had a brain?

The Tu-114 was used for high-level official flights long before the Tu-134: Kruschev was flown to New York on one for his shoe-banging session at the UN, and before that came the Tu-116 (basically a Tu-95 with a passenger compartment where the bomb bay used to be) stop-gap project.

And the Tu-104 before then even.

I can remember going to Heathrow to see the first one that flew into UK in 1956 sometime, but I can't remember who it was carrying. The darn thing TOWERED over every other aircraft in the place and was unbelievably noisy too.
