You'll want to try to get your hands on the vac formed canopy by Pavla for that kit. The kit canopy is too wide for the cabin opening.

Thanks! Just ordered two Aero 45 canopies.

Just an extra note, keep the two rear windows that come in the kit, they fit OK when I tried dry fitting them into their respective openings on my kit and the rear windows on the Pavla canopies aren't formed properly. It's almost like Pavla forgot the windows were there and tried to fake them into the master somehow. The rest of the Pavla canopy is fine, it's just those back windows that are bit messed up.

Initially I wasn't going to bother posting this because of it's achingly dull monotone grey paint scheme, but what the heck? It's got Soviet origins and in the markings of a former Socialist nation:

Croatian Mi-171 Hip:

Now, as a bit of relief from that dullness, here's a splashy Antonov An-2 from the Czech civil register:

And another L-200 Morava for those who liked the first one I showed. This an earlier model, now preserved in the Kunovice air museum:

The Kunovice air museum has a distinct slant towards showcasing aircraft made by the Let aircraft company as Kunovice served as home to Let. As such the museum grants a rather unique oportunity to see the developmental stages of one of Let's better known designs, the Turbolet.

Starting with the XL-410 prototype:

An early production version:

And a rare prototype of the L-410's ill fated replacement, the L-610. According to museum information, of six L-610s built, this is one of only two still intact.

Here is a young Russian airliner. It was built in 2003. Production is still going on in a very limited pace.

UpNorth,
  There's a built-up model of the L-200 here I don't know if it's resin or even paper, but it's a beauty.

Thanks for the link. It looks like it might be scratchbuilt. With any luck, it will be at the model show we have here in Brno every June and I'll get to see it for myself.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Ah, the Smerch and the Kirov... I'm sorry, Carriers can go to hell, Kirovs just scream power.  You don't fly the flag like when you roll a Kirov past.  Big Pete's Ocean Cruise was awesome.

Hate to be picky, but that's not Russian, it's American -- the Airborne Laser Lab.
