Now why haven't I thought before to add the pic of the Halo, it's one of my favourites from Airliners!  A Soviet invasion of USAF base in West Germany!  The Halo is carrying a company of Spetsnaz, escorted by the Hokums in the background.  They're reinforcing the troops you can see troops that are already storming the airfield.

Mi-24 Hind





Bit of an Mi-17/Mi-171 hybrid; it had the relocated oil cooler of the 171 but retained the clamshell back doors of the 17.



Mi-2 Hoplite


L-39 Albatros


Let L-410 Turbolet


Antonov An-26, slated to be replaced in Czech AF service by the Casa 295 by the end of 2010

I love the pic of the Mi 26 in that colour scheme....I think its being escorted as it lands its troops on the Americanski airfield by Alligators KA 52......I've just made one (KA 52) but am having trouble uploading the pics onto the board. Does anyone know what the little fairings are above the flare dispensers on the stub wings......look a bit like the mass balance on Me109/110....??? I looked at a few pics while making mine ,obviously not this one,and have not seen them before.

Actually, it's taken on a Russian airbase. The 707s are the invaders ;D :thumbsup:
