Some nice pics there, upnorth. A real shame that there's so much there at Vyskov that's so dilapidated and in need of tlc.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Actually, the stuff at Vyskov is pretty well looked after and structurally is quite sound most things just need some fresh paint.

When I was there I saw some volunteers doing some restorative work on a pair of L-39 aircraft and another volunteer doing work on an Su-7.

Ah, fair enough then. Good to hear it's not just being left to rot.

Thanks for the link, very interesting

Also of interest is the dark red colour of the undercarriage door
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Here's a couple of pics I snapped of an Estonian Antonov An-2 yesterday:

Since it fits here well, too, here's the weird 3-tone clover-camouflage Mi-24 that inspired the paint scheme on my MiG-SPB whif. You have to look twice to see the different shades, but it's very stylish and effective:

Ditto me, none of them show.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
