STS, sounds like another brilliant kitbash.  Although, I wonder if you might need to scalearama parts to make it work (i.e. 1/100 Phantom with 1/72 Starfighter).

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Hot Puppies!!      I think Lockheed & McDonnell should have gotten together in Real World & built ma bunch of these guys - including single seaters??

Actually it is all 1/48   You gotta go big baby ;D
Here is the problem. Width wise everything works. Length wise same deal

BUT I would really like to build this as close to the profile as possible so to match up height wise all the crosshatched plastic must go

Time to break out the belt sander   Damn I wish I had a scroll saw :banghead: :banghead:

Scribe and snap? Belt-sanding all that down will take forever, and make quite a large mess. Plus you'll get some spare bits to play with later.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Actually I will probably whack most of it off with a coping saw, then sand

Get this Cheese to sick bay!

Thanks Rafa. Everyone please note a major change in this design

See all the the tape  This crappy model had probably a mm of space between the wing roots and the fuselage. I "fixed" this by glueing it up and applying the tape to close up the gap. By consulting my reference material I find that the 11 degree anhedral applied to the wingtips was there to keep from having to redesign the wing spars and landing gear of the Phantom to aid lateral stability by having a 3 degree anhedral on the wings ......well I have that anhedral now

So I will be straightening the wing tips
As you can see the length and width will work out

That photo from the top explains the build in full detail, STS

But, you still have to shave off the top F-4 fuselage, don't you?

Great build, oh, yes!!!

Looks like another great build (and with a lot of possible snags).
