But wait a minute....what are those pod like things underneath it ? And what goes on those outer pylons ?

Oh, those look like Shrikes !

And hold on a second, that doesn't look like gray paint !

The probe is just a piece of rod with a tip from a spare box bit. I was actually going to build it RCN, but changed my mind. The thought of it in grey was just too boring. Even when I dreamed of day-glo panels, or some red flashes to dress her up, it just didn't seem right. But this, on the other hand, looks too cool ! I didn't get the obligatory hanging shot yet, as I plan on flying this one around the couch for a few days first......

Man, I just LOVE Fords! Is this the GT version?? Seriously, I think the F-4D was one seriously pretty aircraft. Too bad the F-5D lost out . . .
