the Learjet was released on the Mach 2 stand at Telford. Joe and myself picked up at least one each.

Martin,

And?

Do tell!

What's the quality of the bits 'n bobs in the box?

its not quite your usual Mach2 kit, it looks half decent on the sprue's. And regardless of what boxing you get, you get all the options for every boxing in the kit. (various tip tanks and lumps and bumps for the special ops versions.)

And the price was quite reasonable as well.

I wonder if it originated from the RVHP kits
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Madoc

Martin,

Thanks for the info.

How are the clear parts?  Typical Mach 2 foggy or better?

I've long been after a Learjet just to have one displayed - military livery or just civilian.

So, this interests me muchly.

Thanks!

Ohh, that one could be interesting.  May needs lots of glue to keep those wings on....

It's HUGE, and being Mach 2 the plastic is well generous so you'll need strong glue!

I have one of the USAF birds srill waiting to be built, and open the box every few months, look at it and then put it away again.........
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Got an idea for the WB-57F, Seaplane or four engined Seaplane.

But even at those prices they're pretty expensive for the quality supllied.

[The word 'quality' here is used in the WIDEST possible sense.... :o]

;D Yeah! I really hope those Ecureuils/Fennecs will be good. Neat lil' chopper that deserve a proper model!

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Will have to dig out the RF-57F I had started way back before my house move some years ago. It got packed away for the move and I haven't seen it since, got to remember which box it's in   :banghead: .
