First time I ever saw one of those.  But that's pretty neat .  Is it a derivative of the TA-154, or vice versa, or not at all?

See here:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henschel_Hs_129

In many respects it was the ancestor of the A-10.

If yopu get the chance, get this book dedicated to it:

Interesting Model Hotte!

That SG113 reminds me of a similar weapon developed by MBB in the 1980s called the Vertical Ballistic Weapon. It was a wing-mounted pod with angled tubes to retro-launch submunitions so that they fell vertically from a fast jet. The front of the pod had sensors to trigger them when it flew over a tank.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

That would be this one - the Vertikalbordwaffe (VBW) that was planned to be used on the Alpha Jets (and even F-4s I believe):

The planned Hs-129C was to have Isotta-Fraschini Delta IVs inverted V12s. The closest Italian radial was probably Fiat's A.74 RC38 but with a diameter of 119 cm, they were much bigger than the Gnome-Rhône 14M (95 cm).

Unless it's too late you really need to think about re-engining that beast, as those Gnome Rhone engines were extremely unreliable. Sneeze and they'd break down, something you don't need when flying miles out to sea.

Nice job otherwise.

Because of these problems the airplanes were sold also to the Italiner  ;D
