Interesting idea and not that unrealistic.  By the way, what kit are you using?

It's a big, wide world out there...so if it's all the same to you I'll just stay indoors!

Having just painted it I realised the nicely faired in canopy is on crooked- So I broke it off and reglued it-will have to repaint it now.... :banghead:

Love the camo.  The way the paint is not evenly the same intensity throughout makes it look very realistic. IHMO, some modellers seem to make theirs too much like a perfect illustration.  And I know some actual paintschemes are like that but in scale form, they often look more like toys to me. Your camo looks like it really was painted on a full-size aircraft. This is going to be outstanding when it's done.

I am insanely jealous!!!! I have the 1/48th Dynavector kit which has been languishing in the to be finished pile for about 5 years. I was planning to do it in the very SEA camo that you are.

And man yours looks great!!!!!

Now I must finish it...........
Get this Cheese to sick bay!

Someone did a profile of this version last year (I think, Mav?) and it peaked my interest but lack of a kit I can afford has kept me from it.

Looking forward to the finished project.  Looks to be Whiffie worthy so far.

Are various trials and tribulations, and a few lessons learned it is finished! Though I might do some bits on it here and there....

It represents a rather worn USAF version last seen operating over Laos in 1973.

Nicely done.  Good job on the camo.  This thing is definitely the Skyraider's ugly brother.
