Sort of very loosely based on this

Profile by GTX idea for build based on a whole bunch of different ideas from this forum
I hate cockpits >:(

Dremel for the win?  I could use one of those... I'll earmark that as "Soon™" yeah.  In the mean time, my hacksaw and my gusto are all I have.  Hacksaw + Elbow Grease = bash-jutsu.

Cockpit looks good Ron, and I can empathize there.  Fiddly details are why I avoid a lot of USN Warships - all those damn oerlikons!

Overkill? Nah, it's Insurance.  So are the 20" guns.

Yeah I got the Dremel ,they are very useful but for making looooong cuts on fuselages and wings the scroll saw is the shiznit ;D
Anyway making progress

Wow, wow, wow!!!

Ron, are you going to square off the inlets' shapes and make the diamond-like cross-section of the nose?

Already to a great start, as always

No I am not going that far on this one Rafa. I have so many cuts and mods going onto this one I don't want to try all the carving I would have to do to get GTX's profile exact. This is more a very advanced Phantomstar

Amazing at how well the forward fuselage of that F-15 blends in with the rest of the F-4.

Seriously, you must be able to PSR in your sleep to keep knocking these out so quick! Looks good Ron, you may not like cockpits but this one sure looks good.

Amazing at how well the forward fuselage of that F-15 blends in with the rest of the F-4.

I was admiring that as well. It looks like that F-15 nose was made for the F-4. Are those F-106 intakes?

Very stunning idea! ;D
Look behind you!

Good eye Model Whisperer  They are off the F-106 .The fact that all these parts go together so well is just purely lucky coincidence and the fact that I happened to have to go through the parts stash so often to create my monsters
This is basically a combo of several of the profiles that I have seen on this site and my warped imagination.

Mo stuff I had a big ol gaps to fill in under the intakes ,so continuing from the install on the Phantomstar I put in navigation/targeting pods

Also needed to do something with the gaps where the wings used to be since the new ones will be shoulder mounted

Well a couple o Phoenix missile pallets solve that problem

I really like the fat belly look of the GTX profile so I added these tanks

Now since I am moving the wings up I will be fairing across the middle of the tanks so I have some place to put landing gear and do away with drop tanks

This is going to be a fantastic build to watch, Sir Slinger !  Love the belly tanks especially !
