Quotedon't know why, but theres something I just like about seeing someone elses work bench with tools & part built kits strewn about.

It's nice to see another bench thats as 'busy' as mine is...I'll post some pics tomorrow when I get new batteries for the camera.... :D  :D  :D

Hi Scooterman

I see you have the Trumpeter Xian H-6 on the back wall under the blow up Enterprise, you thinking of a bomber project for the Far East theme as well or waiting for Trumpeters J-8 Finback and J-10 later in the year and keep it as a tanker ?

I too have that kit and it does look rather interesting, i've even found a source of KS-1 Kilte missiles to do a 60's version now as well

Cheers

Some of us don't even have work benches !

I keep all my 'goodies' in the 'styrene cave', and have to take out whatever I use when I model. I do believe that this is the underlying factor to nothing ever getting finished !

There's a global charity telethon somewhere in that statement, just busting to get out!!!

Model-Aid, anyone?

I could print t-shirts.

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

OK Brad, I've got my decal sheets out the loft, theres one for the F-15DJ & one for the F-4EJ (both from 1/72 Hasegawa kits).  Is the Samurai marking the one from the USAF Japan based F-15s?  The ones with the ZZ codes?  Cos I've got their Samurai markings in the outline version.  I've also got virtually every other JASDF squadron marking - frogs, eagles (3 types) bears, wolfs (2 types), a strange red faced old man, a lotus flower and a terracotta samurai.

And Brad, drop me a line with your mailing addy and I'll send you some 'heads' !

Here's the badge I'm looking for.  The lo-vis F-2 type in blue and black is perfered but the full color would work also.

QuoteIs it just me or is there something unhealthy about a tidy modelling bench?

Perhaps "tidy bench" = JMN?
Well, mine becomes that way every few months. After completing a model or three, I pull everything off, vacuum up the dust and shavings (plus a few lost parts, I'm certain), put down new paper and organize everything on the table.

Right now I'm down to a very small space of a multi-hued, glue-spotted, heavily cut-up piece of paper with small piles of plastic bits spread around the edges. I really have to finish _something_, for I daren't clean up with project in progress, or else I'm gonna toss a really important bit.  :dum:
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Hey this isn't the paintball forum Lancer!

But I will as soon as I get it back together.  MAJOR overhaul as we speak.
